Ammachi's Amazing Machines

Ever adventurous Sooraj and his grandmother (Ammachi) are set out to making their favourite Coconut Burfi. The story narrates beautifully the entire sequence of how Coconut Burfi is made right from plucking the coconuts, to dehusking it to grating it. It also introduces the concepts of sustainability and STEM to young readers interestingly, by covering the uses of simple machines like pulley, wedge, lever etc. for every day activities.

Rajiv Eipe’s illustrations, and his eye to details, are always a pleasure to view at. This book is a must have for every young reader.
